A fan favorite, Mutton Bustin' is for the younger set of cowboys and cowgirls - age 7 and younger or less than 60 pounds.

The object is for the rider to hold onto his or her sheep and ride for 6 seconds. Riders can either hold on around the neck or put their hands into the wool and grip. Ropes are not allowed in the Mutton Bustin' competition.

Contest objects:
1.    Stay on the longest
2.    Ride the farthest
3.    Have fun!

Details:
•    Competitors are required to wear helmets
•    Safety vests are optional, however many wear them.
•    Helldorado Days does not provide helmets or safety vests - please bring them with you. (this could change depending on the company – check with Duane)
