Mutton Bustin' is for the younger set - age 7 and younger or less than 60 pounds.

The object is for the rider to hold onto their sheep and ride for 6 seconds.  Riders can either hold on around the neck or put their hands into the wool to hold on.  Ropes are not allowed in the Mutton Bustin' competition. 

The object of the contest is:

1) to see who can stay on the longest

2) see who can ride the farthest

and

3) have fun!!

Competitors are required to wear helmets.  Safety vests are optional, however many do wear them.  We do not provide the helmets or safety vests - please bring them with you.
