Art Show & Auction
The Public Art Show, Auction & Reception will be held on Sunday June 21st at 2:00 pm at the Elks Lodge, 4100 W. Charleston Blvd., Las Vegas, NV 89102. All profits are donated to local Charities.
The Art Show display will be open for viewing on June 19 & 20, from noon to 5 p.m.
The event will feature a Wine and Cheese reception, live entertainment and an opportunity to meet and greet with participating artists.
Info for Artists
ENTRY FEE: $15 per piece with a maximum of four entries. All participants must R.S.V.P. to (702) 363-7208 or complete the online entry form by May 18, 2015, (or until we reserve all spots) to reserve your number of spaces.
AWARDS: Overall Best of Show - $800. Ribbons will be awarded for Best of Show in 1st, 2nd and 3rd places in each of the categories listed below. All entries, except the $800 Best of Show winner, will be available for the auction.
CATEGORIES: Oil, acrylic, pencil, pen & ink, pastel, mixed media, watercolor, photography, and sculpture (all mediums).
PRESENTATION: All work must be original, which can be open to any theme, must be an original and cannot be in violation of any copyrights. Hanging artwork must be appropriately framed and wired for display. Sculptures must be safely stable when set in place. All entries must remain on display until the close of the exhibit.
DIMENSION OF WORK: Framed artwork cannot exceed four feet wide or deep by four feet wide or deep. Sculptures must not weigh over 100 lbs. with a maximum height of four feet and width or depth of two feet.
AUCTION OF ARTWORK: Minimum bid price may not be changed after entry. Paintings with a starting bid of $200 or $250 have had the best response and have generated the highest sale prices. Helldorado Days is not responsible for incorrect pricing after acceptance of entries. Helldorado Days shall receive 25% commission of the auctioned piece. “NFS” shall indicate “Not For Sale”.
DELIVERY: Artists are responsible for delivery of entries to the Las Vegas Elks Lodge and their removal at the end of the event. Hand delivered entries must be brought to the Elks Lodge main entrance (see address below) on Wednesday, June 10, 2015 between the hours of 10 am and 4 pm. Shipped entries will not be accepted. Insurance of all artwork is the personal responsibility of the artist.
